Description
The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage constructed of random rubble with a triple Roman tile roof and two rendered ridge stacks. It has one storey and an attic, featuring two front-facing gables and two bays. The windows are three-light casements with moulded wooden lintels and stopped labels; the right-hand label has been rebuilt in brick. There is an additional window opening to the right on the ground floor, which contains a 20th-century two-light casement with a moulded wooden lintel and stopped label. The door opening is nearly central and features an early 19th-century five-panelled door with a moulded wooden surround. Inside, the cottage has moulded ceiling beams and two early 19th-century six-panelled doors.
