Description

The Cottage at Olcote is a pair of cottages dating to the 17th century, and altered subsequently. The cottages are constructed of rubble stone, partially rendered, with a stone-tiled roof. They have north and east-facing stacks. The building has one storey and an attic. The left-hand gable features 20th-century windows on each floor. A projecting 19th-century double porch, constructed of rubble stone and gabled, features two segmental-headed doorways. A bead-moulded two-light mullion window with a dripstone is set into the right-hand side of the building, and two dormers with casement windows are positioned above. The rear wing has two dormers on the west side, both with 20th-century windows, and two further 20th-century windows below, one of which has a hoodmould. The property is listed for group value.
