Description
The Presbytery, part of the Church of St Mary, was built in 1777. It is constructed from squared sandstone and features a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and consists of two storeys with an attic, arranged in three bays. The facade is characterized by quoins with alternating rustication and a cornice. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. On the ground floor, the windows are Venetian style with keystones, and the central sash has Gothick glazing. The first floor features tripartite windows in the outer bays. The gables have chimneys and copings with kneelers, and each gable wall includes an attic window with a round-headed plain stone surround, complete with a keystone and imposts, also featuring Gothick glazing.
