Description

The cross base located south of the Church of St. Margaret is a pre-Conquest structure made of sandstone. It has a roughly square shape with tapering sides and stands about 2 meters high. The top features a socket for a cross shaft, and each side is decorated with a round arch that springs from clasping pilasters.
