Description
The Castle Hotel is a hotel built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared sandstone and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, featuring chamfered quoins. The windows are sash style with plain stone surrounds. The central bay contains a door with a plain stone surround. The gables are topped with chimneys and have copings with kneelers. To the right, there is a gable from a rear wing that has one bay and windows with plain stone surrounds; the ground and first-floor windows are sash with glazing bars. On the left side of the first floor, there is a door with nine panels in a plain stone surround, which is accessed by external stone steps.
