Description

Three houses located at 333, 334, and 335 Marine Road Central in Morecambe, dating from the early to mid-19th century with later alterations and additions from the late 19th century. They are constructed of sandstone ashlar and feature a slate roof.

No. 335, on the left, is two storeys with an attic and has one bay. Its windows are brown-stained 20th-century casements that mimic the appearance of glazing bar sashes. The attic is illuminated by paired dormer windows, and there is a blocked window opening above the porch on the first floor.

No. 334 was extended to three storeys with an attic in the late 19th century and includes a three-storey stone canted bay window and an attic dormer. Above the porch, there are small windows on both the first and second floors. The porch features three pilasters on sunken panels, a cornice, and a blocking course. The right side of the porch, which belongs to No. 334, has a 20th-century door, while the left side is filled with ashlar and contains a window with glazing bars, margin lights, and Y-tracery.

No. 335 has stone gutter corbels and shares a lead hopperhead inscribed '1828' with No. 336 on the left. No. 333, on the right, is a late 19th-century addition similar to No. 334, but it has a door with a cornice hood located to the left of its bay window.
