Description
Ivy Cottage and East View are two houses dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are built of sandstone rubble and have a stone slate roof. The right-hand house, East View, features three bays with sashed windows that have plain stone surrounds. The central window on the first floor is blank. The door, located in the central bay, has a plain stone surround and a moulded cornice hood. Ivy Cottage, on the left, consists of two bays and also has sashed windows without glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. The door is positioned between the bays and has a plain stone surround as well. Both houses are supported by shaped stone gutter brackets and have chimneys on the gables and between the two houses.
