4/133 New Capernwray Farmhouse II

House, 'TGE 1697' on lintel. Slobbered rubble with slate roof. T-plan. Front range has central entry with gable stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Windows modern in plain stone surrounds. Chamfer of door jambs continues around shaped lintel. Continuous drip course on ground floor interrupted by later windows. Traces of earlier surrounds to mullioned windows visible in stonework. Left-hand (south-west) gable has a door, with a window on the 1st floor, both with plain reveals. Rear wing has 3 windows with plain reveals in the south-west wall, with a chamfered door surround with triangular head to the right. Right-hand gable has stack with shallow projection, and a modern window with plain reveals on the 1st floor.
