Description
The sundial base located in the garden of Beaumont Cote, about 40 metres west of the house, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of sandstone and consists of two sections that are now joined, which may have originally served separate purposes. The lower half is square in shape and features the inscription 'TC 1680' within a roundel. The upper section is chamfered and transitions to a square shape, displaying 'TC' in raised letters within a square panel. The top of the structure has an octagonal panel designed for a sundial plate.
