Description
Lime Tree House is an early 18th-century house located on High Road in Halton-with-Aughton. The building features pebbledashed rubble and a slate roof. It is a two-unit structure with a central entrance and gable chimneys, standing two storeys tall with an attic and three bays. The ground floor windows have plain chamfered flush mullions, with one two-light window to the left and one three-light window to the right of the front door. The first-floor windows have chamfered surrounds but feature later casements. The doorway is adorned with a moulded surround and a segmental arched head. The right-hand gable includes a one-light rebated and chamfered attic window. There are later additions to the left side and at the rear of the house.
