Description
Millers Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and has a slate roof. The building has a two-unit layout with a central entrance, which features a modern porch, and gable chimneys. It stands two storeys tall. On either side of the doorway, there are two-light rebated and chamfered windows with restored wooden mullions, along with a small one-light rebated and chamfered fire window located near the right-hand gable. The first floor has three windows of irregular size; the two outer window heads indicate the former position of two mullions each, while the central window is set high with a rebated and chamfered surround and the central mullion removed. There are later extensions to the left and rear of the building. Inside, the right-hand ground-floor room features a firehood bressumer with a heck post and remnants of a partition. The current fireplace is from the 18th century and has a moulded surround with a shouldered head.
