Description

This is a pair of gate piers and gates dating from the late 18th century, located at the churchyard of the Church of St Wilfrid. The gate piers are made of sandstone and have a square section with round-headed niches on two sides. They feature a fluted frieze below a moulded cornice and are topped with pyramidal caps. The gates themselves are crafted from wrought iron and have swept top rails.
