Description

The archway to the former Halton Hall is a late 18th-century gateway made of sandstone ashlar featuring chamfered rustication. The lintel is designed to resemble a false flat arch, with chamfered voussoirs and a keystone. Above the keystone, there is a re-set corbel that has a carved face, which may have originated from the Church that was rebuilt in 1792.
