Description

The war memorial, dating from around 1920, is located approximately 30 metres in front of Elmfield Hall. It is constructed from white ashlar and features a sculpture. The memorial consists of a short plinth supporting a draped figure with arms spread, which is partly embedded in a tapered slab. There is lettering on the back of the slab.
