Description
The gate piers and perimeter wall to Dyke Nook Lodge were built in 1907, likely designed by Walter Brierley and Gertrude Jekyll. The gate piers are large square pillars made of sandstone ashlar, featuring bands, flat copings, and very large ball finials. The perimeter wall is constructed from snecked sandstone rubble with ridged coping, enclosing a rectangular garden.
