Description
Willow Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that was recently renovated and extended in 1984. It features a rendered brick exterior and a Norfolk reed thatch roof with gable chimneys. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is two low storeys high, with a contemporary or early single-storey extension at the left end. There is a glazed porch to the right, two large three-light casement windows on the ground floor, and two small two-light casement windows above. The modern addition to the right is designed in a matching style and materials but is not included in the listing. At the rear, there are two two-light casement windows on each floor. Inside, the cottage has slim beams, and the axial partition of service rooms in the first bay has been cut down. The original rafters in one room on the first floor are retained and exposed, although they are no longer load-bearing.
