Description
This cottage, located approximately 20 metres east of Brimmicroft Cottage, is built from coursed thin sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof with a chimney at the left gable. The cottage consists of two bays and is two storeys high. The entrance doorway, which has a plain surround, is offset to the left of centre. To the left of the doorway is a 3-light square-mullion window, while to the right are two square 2-light windows, one of which is missing its mullion. On the first floor, there is an altered window to the left and a 2-light window to the right. The rear of the cottage has two square windows at the ground floor of the second bay, with one featuring a square mullion. Inside, the entry leads directly into the first bay, which contains an 18th-century stone fireplace with a cornice. The second bay has a stop-chamfered beam.
