SD 51 SE COPPULL BOGBURN LANE

Barn c. 20 metres east of 8/86 Bogburn Hall 17.4.1967 (Formerly listed as Cruked barn to E. GV II of Bogburn Hall)

Barn, probably late Cl7 or early C18, altered. Coursed sandstone, brick, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan, 4 bays with attached stable at left end,outshut (altered as garage) to front of 1st bay. Opposed wagon doors to 2nd bay; 3 doors in right gable wall (the outer ones blocked), an inserted ground floor window and a square opening at 1st floor. Rear wall of 1st bay is of brick. Roof structure conventional for the period: tie beams, principals, raking struts.
