Description

The gates and gate piers to St. Oswald's Church, built around 1822, are made of cast iron. The square piers feature open scrollwork on the sides and cornices, with the right pier still having a pine-cone finial. The gates are adorned with decorative bands and spear finials. These features are contemporary with the Catholic chapel that has since been replaced by St. Oswald's Church.
