Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of irregularly coursed stone with a roof of graduated stone slates. The house follows a double-depth, central-staircase plan with three bays, arranged over two floors, and includes a single-storey addition to the right gable. Features include stone quoins, coped gables with kneelers, and gable chimney stacks. The central entrance is a 6-panel door set within a segmental keystone arch, topped with a fanlight. There are 3-light casement windows (from the 20th century) to the right and left of the central bay on each floor, and a 2-light window on the first floor centrally. A central gable feature bears a stone panel dated 1659.
