Description
Cotefield is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with the sides painted and the front rendered, topped with a slate roof. The building has a double-depth central-staircase plan, featuring three bays and two storeys, plus an attic. Notable architectural details include a projecting plinth, rusticated quoins, and gable stacks. The central recessed porch has flat pilasters and a semi-elliptical headed door surround with a keystone, leading to a six-panel door. There are two ground floor windows and three first floor windows, all of which are 16-pane sashes with stone sills and keystones.
