Description

The Hearse House, located north-west of the tower of All Saints Church, is an early 19th-century structure. It is built from dressed stone and watershot stone, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building features one bay with a pointed arched opening that has a rusticated surround. The keystone above the arch is intricately carved with a skull and cross-bones.
