Description

Rose Lea is a pair of attached houses built in the 1820s. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. The houses have three bays across the front and two storeys, plus a basement, with a later brick wing added to the rear. The design includes a projecting plinth, a first-floor sill band, and bold square stone brackets supporting the eaves.

At the centre, there is a gabled porch with two windows and a door on either side. The ground floor has two three-light windows, while the first floor features three two-light windows. All windows have chamfered mullions, rock-faced surrounds, and are fitted with sash windows. The right gable includes four two-light windows and a door at the basement level, along with two banded gable stacks.
