Description
A row of three houses built in the second quarter of the 19th century, although incorporating earlier elements. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a slate and stone slate roof. The houses are double-depth, with five bays and two storeys plus an attic. The doorways, located in bays two, three, and four, are partially hidden by 20th-century porches. There are four windows on the ground floor, each with semi-circular heads, rock-faced surrounds, and sash windows. Four similar windows are on the first floor, featuring a sill band and a pointed central window. A bracketed eaves gutter runs along the top, and there is a gabled dormer window in bay three. Gable attic lights and chimney stacks are also present. The rear elevation has a similar gabled dormer window, constructed of brick. The buildings are listed for their contribution to the surrounding group of buildings.
