Description

Bridge Number 7, also known as Hyde Road Footbridge, is an accommodation bridge completed by 1831, designed by engineer William Crosley. It is constructed from dressed stone and features an elliptical horseshoe keystone arch. The bridge has convex parapet walls that include a stone band and rounded copings, which are finished with square piers. The mouth of the bridge is grooved for stop planks.
