Farmhouse. "IAL 1682" on door lintel although there is evidence of various periods of construction. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, graduated stone slate roof and brick stacks. 3-unit baffle-entry plan with 2 storeys. 3 bays, bay 1 is gabled and bay 3 projects as a gabled crosswing. Projecting plinth and quoins to porch in bay 2 which has a chamfered door surround, shaped inscribed lintel and an inscribed stone "IL" within the gable. 2 windows to ground floor and 3 to first the central one of which is a gabled dormer. All windows are 3-light chamfered stone mullion windows. Ridge chimney stack. Gabled dormer window to right side and 3 gables to rear as well as a C20 extension. Chamfered ceiling beams.
