Description

This is a farmhouse, now divided into two houses, dating back to 1697. The building is constructed of English garden wall bond brick with a graduated stone slate roof. It follows a three-unit baffle-entry plan, with two storeys and attic space, and includes a later lean-to addition to the left. The ground floor has three-light casement windows in bays 1 and 3, and the first floor has similar windows in each bay. These windows all date to the 20th century and have flat brick arches. A 20th-century porch is situated in bay 1 (number 6), and a door with an overlight is in bay 2. A brick band runs along the first floor. Blocked window openings are visible on the first floor of bay 2, and in each of the three gables. A large chimney stack sits between bays 2 and 3. The interior has not been inspected.
