Description

Higher Waterside Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1733, as indicated on the datestone. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a 20th-century tiled roof, with a brick addition on the left side. The building has a double-depth central-staircase layout and stands two storeys high, with a two-storey addition to the left. The central door has a square-cut surround and a small overlight above it. On each floor, there are two windows that consist of 20th-century three-light mullion and transom casement windows. The farmhouse has brick gable stacks, and the extension to the left is covered by a continuous roof, with a lean-to structure against the right gable.
