Description

The pig sties located 5 meters north of Ashworth Fold Farmhouse date from the 19th century. They are constructed from watershot stone and feature a stone slate roof with stone ridge tiles. The sties are semi-detached and mirror each other in their layout, with enclosed pens at the front. The walls of the pens are topped with dressed triangular stones, and the gateposts display a tooled diagonal pattern and have triangular heads. A stone flag wall divides the pens.
