Description

The pigstyes at One Ash Grange date from the 18th century and are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings. The building features a stone slate roof and is a single-storey structure with four pens at the front. The walls are made of rubble and topped with slab copings. There are four gateways with feeding troughs positioned between them, consisting of twin niches with sloping stone slabs leading through to the other side of the walls. Each sty has a low opening. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
