Description

This early 19th-century farmhouse is located on the south side of Haddon Grove Lane in the parish of Over Haddon. Constructed of coursed squared limestone with raised gritstone dressings and quoins, it features a stone slate roof, stone gable end stacks, and stone coped gables with plain kneelers. The building is two storeys high with three bays. A flush central doorcase is topped by a moulded stone hood supported by brackets and contains a plank door. Later 19th-century triple-pane sash windows are set within original raised surrounds, two to either side of the door. Above, there are three similar windows, with the window over the door being slightly narrower than the other two.
