Description
Hill Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, situated in Greenfield. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has a slate roof. It is a single-depth building with three bays spread over two storeys. The first bay projects and represents the earlier part of the building. Quoins are present. A door is located in the second bay, with a square-cut surround. The front has five, two, and six-light ground floor windows and three three-light first floor windows; all feature recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There are three, four, and five-light windows to the rear. An altered barn adjoins the house to the left.
