Description
Dean Head Farm and the adjoining cottage are a house and cottage built around 1790 and in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. The main house is a double-depth, three-storey, two-bay structure with a small one-storey wing on the right and a three-storey, single-depth cottage added to the left. The building has quoins and displays five and six-light windows on the ground and first floors, with three, four, and three-light windows on the second floor. The cottage features a two-light window on each floor and a square-cut door surround. Both buildings have two-light gable windows and similar window styles at the rear. All windows are fitted with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There is a dressed door surround on the right gable, along with kneelers and gable chimney stacks.
