Description
Oak Dene Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone, topped with a slate roof. It features a single-depth, two-bay plan and stands two storeys high. A 20th-century bay and garage have been added to the right, along with a large 20th-century porch. The building has quoins and displays a variety of windows on the ground floor, including two, three, three, and two-light windows, all with double-chamfered cavetto-moulded mullions, although one window is obscured by the porch. The first floor has a later 11-light window that combines two three-light windows of the same style. The farmhouse has raised eaves and ridge chimney stacks. There is a blocked door on the left gable with a dressed surround, accompanied by two two-light windows.
