Description
Drybridge is a house dating from the late 18th century, located on the south-east side of Huddersfield Road in Diggle. It is constructed from painted hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan with three bays and two storeys, along with a small lean-to against the left gable.
The ground floor includes five and four-light windows with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. On the first floor, there is a nine-light workshop window, also with stone mullions, but featuring king mullions. The third bay is a later addition, set back, and includes a porch within the angle. There is a blocked taking-in door and a four-light window at the rear, as well as three ridge chimney stacks.
