Description
Thurstons is a house located on Huddersfield Road in Diggle, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone, which is now painted, and features a graduated stone slate roof. The house has a single-depth plan with two bays and two storeys, along with lean-tos against each gable. The ground floor has six and three-light windows, while the first floor has seven and three-light windows, all with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There are also one, two, and three-light windows in the gables and at the rear. The entrance door is located in the left lean-to, and there is a ridge chimney stack.
