Description
Knowls Lane Farm is likely a house dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of roughly coursed and squared stone with stone flagged roofs. The house is two storeys high and has a three-unit plan, with entrances in the centre and to the right. The central entrance has a chamfered architrave. Inserted three-light casement windows flank the central entrance on both floors to the right, while tall, square cut two-light mullioned windows are on both floors to the left. A doorway to the right gives access to a service room. There's an end wall stack and an axial stack. The farm forms part of a larger complex that includes the Manor House and an attached cottage.
