Description

The property comprises a manor house and an attached cottage, likely dating from the late 17th century, with the cottage added during the 18th century. The house is constructed of roughly coursed squared stone with a stone flagged roof. It is a two-storey building, originally planned with two main rooms, a double-pile layout, and a parallel wing to the rear. The present entrance is located in a gabled porch on the gable return, flanked by three-light mullioned windows on the first floor. A single window is present on the front elevation on each floor; these are paired two-light casements with central mullions, although other mullions have been removed. End wall stacks are visible. The cottage projects from the left-hand side of the front elevation and has a single-unit plan. It features blocked square cut mullioned windows in the gable and a single window on each floor to the left of the front doorway. A further doorway and mullioned windows are found in the left-hand gable return to the rear.
