Pair of town houses, now shop. Early C19, altered. Stucco on brick, slate roof. Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted. Three storeys over cellars, 3+3 windows; round-headed doorways in the outer bays, with doorcases of engaged columns with acanthus-leaf capitals, fluted entablatures with paterae, and dentilled cornices; other ground floor openings altered; sashed windows without glazing bars at 1st floor, 4-pane sashes at 2nd floor (except the 1st and 2nd at No.12 which are altered). Dentilled wooden eaves (restored). Ridge chimneys. Rear and interior not inspected. Forms group with No.10 and No.8 to the right.
