Description
No. 10 Lever Street is a town house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone alterations and partial rebuilding. The building is constructed from brown brick in Flemish bond, with the ground floor finished in stucco, while the top floor has been rebuilt using common brick from the 20th century. It features a slate roof and has a double-depth single-fronted plan. The structure stands three storeys tall over a cellar and has three windows. There is a doorway on the right with an altered surround and a cornice supported by consoles. The windows on the ground floor have been altered, while the upper floors feature segmental-headed windows, with the first floor having four panes and the second floor having altered windows. This building is part of a group that includes No. 8 to the right and Nos. 12 and 14 to the left.
