Description
41 and 42 Junction Road is a former school building, now divided into two houses, dating from around 1840 and altered in 1972. It is constructed of coursed and squared stone with a slate roof.
The exterior features two storeys and a five-window range. There is a storey porch adjacent to the gable at the east end and a gabled porch to the right. The windows consist of two and three mullioned arched lights, each beneath drop-ended hoodmoulds. The wide eastern gable displays a large three-light traceried window, complete with finials on the kneelers and an embattled parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
