Description

The King's Head Public House is a public house located on Junction Road in Deane, Bolton. It was built in the late 18th century and extended in the mid-19th century. The building features roughcast render with both slate and tiled roofs.

The exterior is two storeys high, with the original structure comprising a three-window range and a doorway positioned to the left of the center. The door has a plain stone architrave and is flanked by three-light windows, while a single-storey extension obscures the right-hand bay. The upper windows are sash windows with 12 and 16 panes. There are end wall stacks present. To the right, there is a taller addition that includes a lean-to porch on the ground floor and a three-light window beside it. The upper windows in this section are sashes with 4 and 12 panes, along with end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
