Description

Trenace House is a house dating from the 1800s or earlier, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The house is symmetrical, with three storeys and three windows, featuring a full-width corniced gable to the front. A Roman Doric pedimented doorcase is present, incorporating attached columns and a half-round fan. The front door consists of six raised and fielded panels. Mid-Victorian corniced, canted bay windows flank the doorway on either side. The second storey has three near-flush 12-pane sash windows, each with a keystone lintel and projecting stone cills. The third storey contains three near-flush 6-pane sash windows located under a plain projecting band.
