Description
The Pigeon House behind Dane Bank House is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring Flemish bond on the side facing the house and English garden wall bond on other sides. The building has a gabled slate roof and is rectangular in shape. There is a deeply recessed boarded door in a low opening on the right side, with a later doorway added to the left side. The front and both side walls have circular flight-holes, which are centrally placed and surrounded by raised rings of brick voussoirs. The flight-hole at the front is blocked, while those on the sides are glazed. The interior has not been inspected.
