Memorial stone: dated 1876. Buff sandstone obelisk standing c.l.2m high, on chamfered plinth and with pyramidal cap. South face reads:

"IN REMEMBRANCE OF JOHN RADCLIFFE ESQ. WHO WAS ACCIDENTALLY KILLED WHILST CROSSING THIS FENCE WITH THE CHESHIRE HOUNDS 7 MARCH 1876. No Man Is Sure of Life
