Description

The stable range at Smithy Farm is a structure dating from the early to mid 19th century and remains unaltered. It is built of brick with slate roofs and features blue brick dressings. The long range of stables includes three stable doors and one plain door, all framed with glazed brick surrounds. There are four windows with arched heads and glazed brick sills, as well as three loft openings. The left gable has openings at both the ground floor and loft levels.
