Description
Pear Tree Farm House is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It has been altered and added to over time. The building is constructed of brown brick laid in Flemish bond and features a replaced concrete tile roof and a sandstone plinth. It has two storeys and a cellar. The front has three windows, with the left-hand window, which was previously a painted blank, now being inserted. The windows are recessed sashes with glazing bars, and those on the ground floor have arched brick heads. The entrance door consists of six raised panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. There are brick stacks on the ridge. Inside, the house features a rock-cut cellar, one door with six panels, and ledge and batten doors with L-shaped hinges.
