2/150 Two Mile House

Farmhouse, late C17 altered and added to, left and rear, late C19. Walls of small brown bricks in irregular bond. Grey slate roofs with sandstone kneelers and gable copings. Central brick chimney, largely rebuilt. Originally a 3-bay symmetrical building (with central front gable) of 2½ storeys with plain band at first floor and corbelled brick band at second floor. Two storey 2-bay extension, right, of uncertain date, in similar brickwork. Window and door openings altered with recessed small-pane sashes in original block and recessed, mullioned softwood casements in right wing. Late C19 and C20 alterations and additions at rear. Interior not inspected.
