Description
The clock tower, built in 1830 for the Weaver Navigation Trust (now British Waterways Board), is located between the British Waterways Board office and the River Weaver. It features a brick base with recessed panels on each side, while the three upper stages are constructed of weatherboarded timber. The top stage displays clock faces on the north and south sides, topped by a hemispherical cupola supported by four Doric columns, which is adorned with a moulded finial. There are external wooden steps leading to a raised doorway.
