Description
This is an L-shaped range of farm buildings located 30 meters west of Meadowhouse Farmhouse. It was built in the early 18th century, with a later addition from the 18th century and further alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of orange brick laid in English garden wall bond and features a stone-coped and kneelered Welsh slate roof.
The south and west ranges are visible from the north front, which has two doorways with segmental heads; one of these doorways is partially blocked and has a later sliding door. Below the doorways, there is one small-pane window and two loading bays that display diamond-shaped ventilation patterns. The east range includes a significant inserted opening in the older section, along with a later 18th-century addition that has 20th-century openings.
This building is listed for its group value.
